I had been up most of the previous night on call, yet had to go to Winston-Salem to see the man Eric Clapton said was "by far and without doubt the best guitar player alive." After the show, Buddy signed autographs. All I had was this bank statement. |

 | In 1995, he was in a club in Winston-Salem and I came better prepared. He and his whole band signed a guitar for me. Luckily, I snagged the autograph before the show. He became irritated when someone kept trying to get his autograph during the show! After the show, there was no getting near him. |
